For our partner, an international fintech company, we are looking for:
Chief Accountant (with IFRS)
The role includes:
- Supervise all accounting operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, accounting records, and financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Bulgarian legislation;
- Coordinate all monthly and yearly closing processes;
- Prepare and submit VAT declarations and tax reports;
- Develop and implement internal control procedures and policies;
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies;
- Analyze and interpret financial data for management purposes;
- Lead and mentor the Accounting team.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a multinational company;
- Experience with IFRS is mandatory;
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills;
- Solid experience with Accounting software and MS Excel;
- Excellent team management and communication skills;
- A strong proficiency in English.
