Senior Project Manager – IT

Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is structured, proactive, and experienced in managing large-scale projects within a dynamic organizational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Independently manage complex IT projects from initiation to successful delivery.
  • Prepare project plans, define budgets, and lead risk management activities.
  • Oversee project progress to ensure alignment with timelines, scope, and quality standards.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate and collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project updates, expectations, and escalations.
  • Manage changes, dependencies, and ensure transparent communication across all stakeholders.

Governance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with established PMO standards, methodologies, and quality frameworks.
  • Provide clear and regular project status updates, reports, and documentation within PMO systems.
  • Maintain structured and organized project information to support efficient governance.

Requirements

  • University degree (preferred fields: IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or related).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in an IT environment.
  • Experience outside pure software development environments is considered an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience managing high-priority or cross-functional projects.
  • Knowledge or certification in PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or other methodologies (advantage).
  • Strong skills in planning, risk management, prioritization, and structured execution.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
  • Strong analytical abilities and clear, structured communication skills.
  • Experience with Jira or other PM tools is considered an advantage.
